People are inspired to write songs by all sorts of things. Love and relationships, automobiles, locations... but a magic trick?After finishing our show "Short Guys With Glasses" this past Saturday, Tomas was approached by a man who had seen him before. About 10 years ago, in fact, where Tomas performed The Tic Tac Trick - wherein Tomas shoves 3 Tic Tacs into different facial orifaces and procedes to cough them up (you can find the method to this madness on Tomas' Geek Magic DVD).
Anyway, this incident 10 years ago inspired the man, who was part of a band at the time, to pen a ditty about Tomas' performance.

This song is AWESOME! Can't believe this guy wrote a song about the tic tac trick. It was almost 10 years ago since he's seen me perform the trick at a bar variety show. The name of the band is the CRYING SHEPPARDS. Pretty catchy stuff!
Hey there! I'm the guy who co-wrote the song. My name is Tommy Else, and my partner in crime is Rick Bach. We can't get over that this song has finally found it's way into the hands of the man who inspired it. We really appreciate the warm reception it has received. We threw that recording together rather quickly, and so in light of it's recent resurrection, we have decided to put together a full band polished recording of the song.
